Mission Statement
To create a classroom environment that will promote critical thinking about social, political, and economic issues which will result in a deeper understanding of social justice that can inspire students, teachers, and parents to work collectively to bring about positive change on a local, national, and international level.

I really like your mission. It sounds like you have a clear and concreate idea of what you mission is. Do you feel that you "live up" to your mission every day?
I think your mission when practiced will make students independent learners. Students will create independent thoughts that they can use to make appropriate changes in the future.
As for "living up" to my mission....no, not at all, but it is a work in progress I guess.
