Budget Cuts in NYC

After talking to a friend about the recent budget cuts in education in NYC, it made me wonder how much parents, students, and teachers are going to take before they start doing something about it. In NYC, the fact that they cut a principal's budget overnight is alarming, but what is even more alarming was that they just went into the computer and took it out themselves. While there was a good size protest in front of the Dep. of Ed. on Feb. 14, there is still very little opposition by students, parents, and teachers.
